TECHNOLOGY
The infotainment system found on the 2022 Honda Civic Sedan is well-equipped with all the features you can expect on a modern release. A 7-inch touchscreen display is used for the LX, Sport, and EX models. With the Touring model, this is upgraded to a 9-inch color touchscreen with volume knobs and additional shortcuts and settings. A Driver Information Interface Screen is available on all models and ranges from 7.0-inches to a full 10.2-inch display on the Civic Sedan Touring. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay come naturally integrated into the car’s infotainment system alongside Bluetooth features for audio streaming and hands-free phone use. All Civic Sedans are also given access to the HondaLink Smartphone App for controlling certain functions using your mobile phone. The audio system found on the base LX model is a 160-watt audio system with a 4-speaker setup. This is further improved to an 8-speaker setup which has enhanced output to 180-watts. The Touring tops it all off with a 12-speaker setup sourced from BOSE that comes with an integrated subwoofer.
SAFETY
The 2022 Honda Civic Sedan has been given a 5-star rating for overall safety by the NHTSA, a respected authority in car safety. All models in the Civic Sedan lineup carry most of the features offered by the Honda Sensing Technologies suite, creating a set of safety features and driver-assistive technologies that’s tough to beat. Some of the standard features offered throughout the lineup include a Collision Mitigation Braking System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, and Lane Keeping Assist System. Two distinct safety features are only available on the higher-end models of the Civic Sedan.
